The Demise of society. (My inital opinion)
Overtime society may have advanced in ways of women's right and racial rights , showing a positive move towards equality . However the people within our society have only appeared to become less happy and secure within themselves . So why is it with all these positive moves forwards we have created this society of saddened people who have little self worth , or confidence. With the introduction of social media young people are made to feel lonely and isolated by this unrealistic image which is portrayed to us day after day . Not only are we killing ourselves as people , were killing the world we live in, the animals who create the oxygen we require to breath. Were so blind as a society we choose not to focus on all the abhorrent situations we find our self facing everyday . We live in a generation where it seems normal that everyone should feel suicidal , where trusting people is a rarity . No one cares unless your rich or dying ; that's what someone told me when I was younger and never once in my life did I imagine society would conform to that .
Most teenagers have never known any different than feeling lonely and depreciated in society , were branded as these 'reckless' imbeciles who run around causing trouble for the people in our community . Honestly who could blame us if we did , drugs are more prominent in children now more than ever ,this chance to escape from reality even if it ends up killing us . Happiness is no longer something normal but this unattached feeling we long for hoping one day we will be truly content within our own minds .
However it is possible that this is the view that most people adapt due to the wide coverage of events that we now have . Back in the 'good old days' there was still serial killers , rapists , people still had depression but they wasn't accurate measuring's and readings of these figures so clearly over the years this number has appeared to increase .
